Request A Family
After you earn respect from your superiors within the family that you belong to, you can either make an attempt to obtain the Boss position of your family, or you can start one of your own. You must round up fellow Role Players that you know fairly well, and then come here, and we will decide if you are ready to create a family to call your own. However, only MaFia and Head Admins can approve your family, so contact them first, if by any chance somebody besides them accepts your family.

The Neighborhood of Bensonhurst
|
Bensonhurst is a blue collar/middle class neighborhood located in the south-central part of New York City, USA's borough of Brooklyn. Bensonhurst runs from about 11th Avenue to 25th Avenue and from Gravesend Bay to 63rd Street, encompassing Bath Beach and part of Dyker Heights and bordered by the Bay Ridge, Gravesend, and Borough Park sections. In the early 1900s, many Italian immigrants moved into the neighborhood, and today their descendants make up the vast majority of its population along with longtime Jewish residents and an increasing Chinese population.

The Neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan
|
Downtown Manhattan consists of the Financial District, Battery Park City, Tribeca, and most of Chinatown. However, many people (especially when talking about business matters) would use the term "Downtown Manhattan" to refer only to the Financial District and the businesses located there. This area is also the earliest settled (by Europeans) area of New York City, and is one of the few areas of Manhattan that does not have its streets arranged in a strict grid pattern.

The Neighborhood of Little Italy
|
Little Italy is a neighborhood in lower Manhattan, New York City, once known for its large population of Italian immigrants. Historically, Little Italy extended as far south as Bayard St, as far north as Bleecker, as far west as Lafayette, and as far east as the Bowery. Today, the section of Mulberry Street between Broome and Canal Streets, lined with Italian restaurants popular with tourists, remains distinctly recognizable as Little Italy.

It's a friendly place. Shoppers know merchants, and shopkeepers warmly greet their customers. Hemmed in by Fordham Road, Third Avenue, Southern Boulevard and Tremont Avenue, this is a place where tradition has been preserved, and even those who have moved out of turn-of-the-century apartment buildings and older frame houses where generations of Italians have grown up, come back, to visit their roots, feeling compelled to return to the place their ancestors built with energy, laughter, hard work, lots of love and a great deal of generosity.

The Neighborhood of Hoboken
|
Hoboken's harbor was an important dock for German shipping vessels, and, thus, the boats arriving from Germany with immigrants. When the United States entered World War I on the side of Britain and France, this all changed, the U.S. government seized control of Hoboken's piers and the German ships docked there. Martial law was declared, and many Germans were sent to Ellis Island. Thousands of Germans left Hoboken, and soon the city became known for its large Italian population.

Chicago's South Side was home for many years to a large Italian population. The majority of them came during the Prohibition era. The majority of Italians have moved to the Northern areas though, and the South Side is now the home of Little Poland. Although there are still plenty of Italians and Irish there, it is predominantly Polish and Russian.

Lakeview is the long narrow strip of land running from Lake Pontchetrain to the beginnings of Metairie. The area has a low crime rate is houses many small family-owned businesses, some dating back more than a century.

When Fidel Castro took over Cuba in 1959, revolution would change Miami as much as Cuba. The Cuban exiles who were just beginning to pour into the area were bringing the next Miami with them. The '60s and '80s brought mind-boggling change as more than half-a-million Cuban exiles fled to Miami to start a new life. Miami Beach is also one of the biggest parts of Miami with a huge Drug Trade.

The Desert of Nevada
|
Nevada is a state in the western portion of the United States, and as many know, is purely made up of desert. Many outlaws rule the dessert with an iron fist, while gangsters from Las Vegas use the man-made holes in the desert to 'solve problems'. A good portion of the town's difficulties are concluded here, and various diminutive towns are scattered throughout here. Use this to your advantage…

Streets of Palermo, Sicily
|
Palermo was founded in the 8th century BC by Phoenician tradesmen around a natural harbor on the north-western coast of Sicily. At the turn of the 21st century, Palermo is still struggling to recover from the devastation of World War II and the damage caused by decades of uncontrolled urban growth. The historic city centre is still partly in ruins, the traffic is horrific, and poverty is widespread. Being the city in which the Italian Mafia historically had its main interests, it has also been the place of several recent well-publicized murders.

The Streets of Dublin, Ireland
|
Dublin is a major cultural centre in Ireland. Temple Bar is an important place for night life and often people from Britain and beyond visit for the weekend. The Vikings founded Dublin. At the end of the 8th century Vikings began raiding Ireland and in the 9th century Norwegians used the mouth of the River Liffey as a base from which to raid the rest of Ireland. There is a vibrant night life in Dublin - the main centre for this is in the Temple Bar area south of the Liffey. This area has become synonymous with stag and hen parties and tourists, causing many locals to steer clear of the area.

The Borough of Queens
Queens is the most diverse county in the U.S., with more immigrants than anywhere else. Geographically it is the largest of the boroughs. Howard Beach and Middle Village are home to large Italian-American populations, Rockaway Beach has a large Irish-American population, Astoria, in the northwest, is traditionally home to one of the largest Greek populations outside of Greece. Jackson Heights, Elmhurst and Corona make up an enormous conglomeration of Hispanic and Asian communities. Basically any and every race lives here.

The Borough of Bronx
The Bronx is known as the purported birthplace of hip hop culture, as well as being the home of the New York Yankees. Excluding its minor islands, the Bronx is the only borough of the city that is on the mainland of the United States and also has many large neighborhoods such as Belmont, Belmont is a neighborhood strong with Italians, just like Little Italy.

Argumentative Forum
Locked
This forum is if you have a beef with another player? Have something that you disagree with here? Have a problem of some kind? If you have a valid arguement you can post it here and take sides on issues. Remember, the more respectful you are, the better your arguement is. This is not meant for flaming every single thing on your mind, or flaming individuals because you want to and/or are an asshole, this is ment for getting issues out, and finding a conclusion. Usually topics from OOC will end up here if fighting starts.
