| Borough of New York |
|
 |
Brooklyn
Brooklyn, the 'Borough of Homes', can be understood as a collection of neighborhoods, many historically descended from the old towns and villages of Dutch times. The borough's striking diversity plays host to a bustle of ethnic and multi-ethnic neighborhoods that both preserve a flavor of 'the old country', of whatever latitude, and create spaces for interaction between individuals and communities.

Manhattan
Manhattan is connected by bridges and tunnels to New Jersey to the west, and three New York City boroughs: the Bronx to the northeast; Brooklyn and Queens on Long Island to the east and south. Its only direct connection with the fifth New York City borough is the Staten Island Ferry, whose terminal is at Battery Park.

The Bronx
The Jewish population also increased notably during this time and many synagogues are still evident throughout the borough (although a good portion of these have been converted to other uses). In the prohibition days, bootleggers and gangs ran rampant in the Bronx. Mostly Polish and Italian immigrants smuggled in the illegal whiskey. By 1926, the Bronx was noted for its high crime rate and its many speakeasies.

Queens
Residents of Queens have been known to identify more with their neighborhood than with the borough as a whole. Howard Beach and Middle Village are home to large Italian-American populations, Rockaway Beach has a large Irish-American population, Astoria, in the northwest, is traditionally home to one of the largest Greek populations outside of Greece, and is home to a growing population of young professionals from Manhattan. Maspeth is home to many European immigrants, including a large Polish population. Several large companies have their headquarters in Queens. They include Bulova, Glacéau, JetBlue and Steinway & Sons.

Staten Island
Staten Island was arguably best known as the site of the Fresh Kills Landfill, the primary destination for garbage from the five boroughs of New York City and the largest single source of methane pollution in the world.Staten Island is sometimes jokingly called "Staten Italy" because of its gigantic Italian-American population. Many young adults in the island's local music community have nick-named Staten Island "The Rock". Former Professional wrestler "Macho Man" Randy Savage now resides in Staten Island New York.

Jersey City
Jersey City is the second largest city in the state of New Jersey located in Hudson County on the peninsula between the Hackensack and Hudson rivers. Its commercial and industrial center surpassed only by Newark, it is a port of entry and a manufacturing center. With 11 miles of waterfront and significant rail connections, Jersey City is an important transportation terminal point and distribution center. The city has benefited from its position across from the island of Manhattan, connected by the Holland Tunnel. Further developments have included increased housing and shopping areas and a waterfront-renewal project. Frank Sinatra might have been born in Hoboken, but as soon as he was old enough to know better, he moved to Jersey City!

The Neighboorhood of Providence
The City of Providence is quiet and elite. But still within this area is a power to be reckoned with. The Boston mob previously headed up by Raymond Patriarca rulled supreme here as everyone bowed to the office. Now in 2006 with the Gambino's purchasing rule for 21 Million (from staff) the new age of Boston's power begins.

The Neighborhood of Loop
The Loop is what locals call the downtown neighborhood of Chicago. It is the second largest downtown business district in the United States, after Midtown Manhattan. Bounded on the west and north by the Chicago River, on the east by Lake Michigan, and on the south by Roosevelt Road, the lack of space shaped an architectural style dominated by high-rises. Notable buildings include the Home Insurance Building, considered the first skyscraper, to the Sears Tower, the tallest in the United States. Some of the historic buildings in this district were instrumental in the development of high-rises.

The Neighborhood of South Beach
Fun in the sun. Today the South Beach section of Miami Beach is a major entertainment destination with hundreds of nightclubs, restaurants and ocean-front hotels. The area is popular with international tourists as well, with German being the third most spoken language after English and Spanish. The large number of European tourists contribute to why South Beach is one of the few public beaches in the United States where topless sunbathing is common.

The Las Vegas Strip
Nevada was the first state to legalize casino-style gambling, but not before it reluctantly was the last western state to outlaw gaming in the first decade of the 20th Century. At midnight, Oct. 1, 1910, a strict anti-gambling law became effective in Nevada. It even forbids the western custom of flipping a coin for the price of a drink. By far the most celebrated of the early resorts was the Flamingo Hotel, built by mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, a member of the Meyer Lansky crime organization. The Flamingo with a giant pink neon sign and replicas of pink flamingos on the lawn, opened on New Year's Eve 1946. Architectural plans included razing the outmoded, motel-style buildings at the rear of the property, dooming the fortress-like "Bugsy Suite" and bullet proof office used by the gangster before his death in 1946. Six months later, Siegel was murdered by an unknown gunman who fired a shotgun blast as Siegel sat in the living room of the Beverly Hills, Calif., home of his girlfriend, Virginia Hill.

is the town of Colemanton.
Made in 1850 by 2 men who struck it
rich in the Gold Rush Colemanton is a freehaven for people who arent in the
Mafia or affliated with a Gang.
Colemanton has a bay, hills and alot
of open countryside with a Hospital and Airport.
The reason why no Organized crime
is here is for some reason they leave
this city soon after they come, but its a place for people who want to be Crime leaders
to start in, grow, then leave to try to make their fame some where else in the world.
